Opportunity International Australia is looking for an experienced Marketing and Campaign Coordinator to implement Opportunity International Australia’s marketing campaigns in line with the fundraising strategy to grow and retain the Opportunity supporter base.

THE ROLE

This role is responsible for the execution of marketing campaigns and activity in line with the fundraising strategy to generate revenue, acquire new supporters as well as engage and retain the existing Opportunity International Australia supporter base. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience running campaigns, familiarity across a range of direct and digital marketing channels as well experience in a non-profit environment.

The Marketing and Campaign Coordinator will execute direct mail and digital campaigns, oversee supporter journey activity and manage the Peer-2-Peer (P2P) online platform. This role will also provide Marketing support to the wider organisation, including assistance in the running of events. 

We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented team member with excellent communication, stakeholder management and project management skills. The right candidate will need to be able to work independently, earn trust with cross-functional teams and keep the families we support overseas front of mind.

The Marketing and Campaign Coordinator will report to the National Marketing Manager and work closely with the Communications Coordinator.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Delivering all end-to-end aspects of key Marketing campaigns across a range of channels including direct mail, email, web, digital advertising, email marketing, video, SMS and campaign social media    
  • Developing channel activity briefs and manage project deliverables
  • Managing campaign budgets and monitoring and reporting on campaign activity 
  • Using data and segmentation to deliver tailored one-to-one communications - managing the process, data files and CRM updates
  • Implementing and managing timelines to produce deliverables to deadline
  • Managing multiple external partners and internal stakeholders to deliver campaigns  
  • Conducting analysis to assess ongoing campaign performance, optimise activity and inform future strategy
  • Driving continuous improvement and optimisation through a test and learn process
  • Managing Opportunity’s P2P fundraising strategy, P2P supporters and overseeing the P2P digital platform
  • Back-end and administration duties

YOUR SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Essential

  • Minimum 3+ years experience implementing marketing campaigns 
  • Degree qualification in marketing or related discipline preferred 
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and project management skills 
  • Demonstrated experience implementing campaign activity 
  • Experience analysing and reporting on direct and digital communications
  • Ability to work within a team as well as independently

Desirable

  • Database management experience
  • Previous experience in a non-profit organisation
  • Advanced MS Office skills with a particular focus on Excel 
  • Email platform-marketing experience or any other marketing automation platform
  • Adobe Creative Suite skills with a particular emphasis on InDesign and Photoshop preferred (not mandatory)
  • Web CMS experience (not mandatory)
