Remote / Work from Home
Outdoors People for Climate (OPC) is looking for 1 individual to strengthen our board of directors as we continue to grow. This is a voluntary role which requires management and implementation of the day to day operations of OPC. As a relatively young and recently incorporated organisation, we’re looking for a values driven and highly motivated person to help OPC achieve our goals for 2022 and beyond. OPC is looking for someone to work within the existing vision and strategy of the organisation whilst bringing passion, innovation and great new ideas. The role will require the successful applicant to be a major contributor to the operations of OPC.
OPC is an Australia-wide grassroots group made up of outdoor enthusiasts and workers. We work within the climate movement to call for greater action on climate change and a national plan to reduce climate pollution this decade. OPC helps to engage and activate the Australian outdoor community and outdoor industry by communicating the impact of climate change on the outdoors and providing the resources to make taking action easy and effective.
OPC is entirely volunteer run and has been driven by a small group of dedicated and passionate outdoor people.
