Job Description

We are looking for a talented and passionate individual to support OpenSC’s growth. You will play a critical role in creating technology enabled transparency in various supply chains and geographies. This goes end-to-end and means innovating and creating (researching / designing / building & implementing) technology solutions that enable and create a new type of data-based transparency and traceability.

In your role as Implementation Manager you will have the chance to define, plan, manage and execute through every stage of creating a solution for a new commodity and supply chain to drive positive social impact.

Each implementation is unique, which is why you’ll work closely with our customers to define a solution that provides real business case benefits, without interfering with day to day operations.

Your role will include strategy, business design, stakeholder management, project management.

Your day to day will be filled with the following responsibilities:

Implementation & Stakeholder Management Support

• Supporting with the creation of implementation materials, including project deliverables
• Assisting with the management of larger implementation teams, by supporting the implementation manager to manage discreet workstreams and members of the team
• Supporting with stakeholder management, including C-suite level clients (mix of synchronous and asynchronous communication)

Solution Support

• Working with both implementation teams and development teams to support our live solutions, including back office support for data issues
• Effectively communicate to our platform team project milestones, deadlines and realities on the ground that affect data coming into the platform
• Work with stakeholders to continually improve, and roll-out upgrades to our live solutions

Business Development & Scoping Support

• Supporting with the development of sales and marketing materials
• Supporting the development of proposals, including supporting scoping out the proposal approach

Skills required:

• Strong alignment with OpenSC’s vision and a desire to have positive impact in the world
• 1+ year of relevant professional experience, ideally within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in collaboration with and presenting to senior executives
• A pragmatic, entrepreneurial and hands-on approach, thrives in remote working environments
• Bring enthusiasm and grit - and the ability to have fun at work
• Experience in a related industry is favourable but not required (supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, agriculture, certification, sustainability or human rights)
• Experience with Google Workspace suite of tools, especially Google Slides is favourable but not required
