ABOUT US

Open Food Network is a not-for-profit organisation focused on building a new food system that is fair, local, and transparent.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator will develop our communications and marketing strategies with the support of their Circle. The role is responsible for supporting awareness, acquisition and fundraising campaigns, which will involve using a range of communications channels including newsletters, website, social media, eDMs, and printed publications.

As part of a small team, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator must be proactive and hands on, with the ability to think strategically and drive delivery. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will show initiative and take responsibility for coordinating projects, while not losing sight of competing priorities and higher level communications objectives. It is important to note that due to the nature of working in a small, lean team, flexibility is required, and the role will be fast-paced and enjoy a high level of variety.

This role is a remote position with flexible hours and can be done from anywhere in Australia. This role requires you to have your own computer, phone, and a reliable internet connection. If based in Victoria, it may be useful to have access to transport to enable face to face catch ups where possible.

  • Work collaboratively with a range of product teams within the organisation to understand product-market fit, and support product teams in their marketing.
