ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

With new leadership brought in in October 2021 to support and sustain the rapid growth of the organisation, this is an exciting time to become involved with the One Eighty with the opportunity for input in strategic development.

In this part-time role, the Fundraising Manager will work closely with the CEO, Chair, other Board members, and a close-knit management team (marketing and community engagement). The primary responsibility of the role will be to meet fundraising KPIs. To achieve this, you will be required to lead the implementation of all fundraising activities (with a major focus on corporate partnerships/sponsorships, grants, events, and digital fundraising), and to nurture donor/stakeholder relationships. At times you may also be required to manage a small team of volunteers. Responsibilities of this role also include ensuring all fundraising activities operate within relevant fundraising regulations, and that all fundraising authorities in relevant states and territories remain up to date.

  • Remote, part-time role, 30.4 hours per fortnight (with option to increase if KPIs exceeded)
  • Salary package ($75k - $85k pro rata) in line with SCHADS award rates; negotiated subject to experience and qualifications
  • Open to applicants nationally – remote working arrangements available
  • 1 year contract with option to renew if KPIs exceeded

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Knowledge of the responsibilities of a Fundraising Manager, including an understanding of the legal, reputational, ethical, fiduciary, and financial responsibilities of fundraising.
  • Digital native, with digital fundraising experience/expertise
  • Experience using a fundraising CRM
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs in a fundraising role
  • Grant writing experience (for grants upwards of $500,000) with evidenced track record of grant success
  • Experience building out templates and processes for applying for Grants to improve the process for the future
  • Experience identifying the appropriate grants for specific organisations
  • Experience organising and running major fundraising events, such as a Gala
  • Ability to develop and monitor strategic fundraising plans including budgets and forecasts
  • Desire and willingness to work alongside and mentor young people on the Board/senior management
  • Good culture fit, with values aligned to those of One Eighty
  • Must already have working access to IT equipment such as a Laptop, internet, and Microsoft office suite
