As a Support Worker you need to be well organised, reliable, possess excellent interpersonal skills, be available to provide consistent and flexible support and commit to a long term employment relationship. We are currently seeking Support Workers to work with our consumer who lives in Port Kennedy or surrounding suburbs. The following profile describes our consumers requirements

“I am a woman in my 20’s looking to expand my team of staff who support me in living a fulfilling and self-directed life. Some of my interests include taking walks while enjoying nature, staying fit and healthy, swimming, and listening to music. The ideal support worker would pride themselves in their work ethic, have a vibrant personality, be flexible and be capable of communicating with me in a way that I understand. I am very close to my family, who are involved in my daily life, so it is important that staff are able to be respectful to both myself and to them. Essential to the application process will be:

• A current NDIS worker screening check
• NDIS worker orientation module
• Current First Aid
• Epilepsy training and awareness
• Experience providing personal care
• Current manual handling certificate
• Drivers' license and available to attend training for van strapping, own reliable vehicle, and
• Previous employment references
