This is an exciting opportunity for you to become a key contributor to ONCALL’s dynamic and diverse Supported Independent Living (SIL) Services team. Focusing primarily on management of a portfolio of residential houses, you will provide a comprehensive suite of services and support to residents with significant, complex and dual disabilities across a variety of accommodation models including ongoing, emergency, contingency and transitional. You will be fully supported by a professional Behaviour Support Plan (BSP) and a registered Authorised Program Officer.

Reporting to the SIL Services Team Leader, you will utilise your expertise to coordinate and build high performing teams to deliver quality, client centred care and support to our wonderful residents.

Additionally, you will:

  • Lead and supervise the residential Team Leaders to ensure the best quality of service is always being delivered
  • Ensure all residential houses and support services fully comply or exceed audit standards
  • Support the BSP by being actively involved in the development, implementation and review of all resident plans
  • Maintain up to date resident and personnel data
  • Support the Workforce Development and Administration team to ensure rostering is in line with needs
  • Liaise with DHHS and other key stakeholders as required
  • Actively engage with families
  • Ensure all incident reporting and CIMS process are completed in line with legislative timeframes

About you

Our successful applicant will:

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, be an organised, proactive and motivated self-starter with a desire to quickly establish your credentials and develop a career with ONCALL
  • Possess a relevant qualification within disability (Cert IV or higher)
  • Have extensive experience in a similar role overseeing/coordinating disability accommodation services, and managing, supervising and mentoring a team of staff in a residential setting
  • Demonstrate experience working with residents with complex needs and behaviours of concern
  • Have experience writing and coordinating incident reports with the updated CIMS system
  • Have a current Victorian drivers’ licence (mandatory requirement)

Your ability to engage, build and maintain solid stakeholder relationships coupled with your sound negotiation and dispute resolution skills will guarantee your success in this role.
