Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

Offenders Aid and Rehabilitation Services Community Transitions (OARS CT) deliver innovative and successful high-level rehabilitation and support services. Due to growth within our NDIS team we are seeking a dedicated Behavioural Support Practitioner to provide high quality, professional and culturally appropriate behavioral support plans and associated services.

Candidates must provide a copy of their CV and a covering letter which clearly addresses these 5 key points:

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Disability, Counselling or a related Human Services discipline
  • Significant experience working with disadvantaged people, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and/or ex-offenders
  • Accredited NDIS professional with a good working knowledge of NDIS processes and significant proven experience in preparing practical behaviour management plans
  • Experience working in partnership with a range of service providers
  • Working knowledge of criminal justice practices and/or an interest in social justice would be advantageous

Please be aware this role is 0.8 FTE, with some options for flexibility available, and is classified under the SCHCDS Award, Level 6.
