The position:

The Service Contracting and Bookings Officer will effectively support Nulsen Disability Services with the development of service agreements and subsequent service bookings to ensure we are able to claim for services provided. The position involves an element of intake and provides initial contact to potential service users, their families and their representatives.

This role ensures an exceptional customer experience is provided to current and potential service users and their families, in a way that meets their individual needs, goals and aspirations.  The Service Contracting and Bookings Officer will share our values, reflective of The Nulsen Way and have a passion for supporting people with disability to live their best life.

Your duties will include the following:

• Development of Individual Service agreements for service users.
• Liaison with participants, families and guardians to progress paperwork for commencement of services and follow up as required.
• Liaison with relevant internal and external stakeholders regarding service bookings and service variations.
• Initial contact for new service queries, including provision of information regarding Nulsen services and referral to appropriate service streams.
• Administration support to Participant Engagement Team as required

What you’ll need:

• A person-centred approach and experience working with people with disabilities.
• Previous experience in a similar role with understanding of relevant mainstream and community support services within the Perth metropolitan area.
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and the NDIS pricing framework. 
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including service users, families, advocates and other providers.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload to meet organisational needs.
• Demonstrated experience in complex problem solving, and the ability to be innovative.
• Eagerness to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment.

You will also need:

• Must hold Australian citizenship or be a permanent resident of Australia.
• Proficient in the use of technology including email, the internet and Microsoft Office.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, a National Police Clearance and NDIS Worker’s Screening Check
• Evidence of Covid-19 Vaccination
