- Full Time hours - 12 months Fixed term Contract
Nulsen supports people with disabilities who have complex needs. We are one of Western Australia’s leaders in this field and we have a job for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to assist in the development and enhancement of Nulsen's processes and procedures surrounding infection control and prevention. This role would also be a driving force in the development and implementation of preparedness protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and delivering IPC training programs
- Reviewing and developing infection control measures to meet legislative requirements
- Providing advice and support to the Pandemic Emergency team at Nulsen
- Provide some professional development and clinical supervision to Nurses in direct support roles
- Delivering training to nursing and other care staff
- Assisting with investigations and audit concerning clinical care
- Engaging with residents family members and building meaningful relationships
What you’ll need:
- Expertise and experience in the development and implementation of infection control and prevention protocols
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
- Committed to providing a superior nursing and consultancy service and continual excellence in care to a diverse range of people

- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent understanding of continuous quality improvement, OHS and risk management
