NT Shelter is the peak body for affordable housing and homelessness in the Northern Territory. We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated professional who is keen to make a positive contribution to addressing the needs of vulnerable Territorians.
In this role you will be NT Shelter’s key staff representative in the Central Australia region, responsible for identifying and articulating key regional housing and homelessness priorities. This involves a significant amount of consultation, facilitation and engagement with a broad range of key stakeholders, including Government, member organisations, Aboriginal controlled organisations, and community groups. Supported by our Darwin based team, you will be instrumental in managing relationships and our presence in the region. You will make a significant contribution towards the social and affordable housing agenda, securing better outcomes for tenants, and contributing to reduced homelessness.
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communications skills and a track record of working collaboratively and effectively with others.
