About the Opportunity

This role is responsible for supporting program management of primary health services commissioned by NT PHN that are evidence-based and responsive to local and regional needs. This position will take a lead role in service co-design, sourcing, contract management and relationship management commissioned programs. The role will be required to work in a proactive and collaborative manner with internal and external stakeholders in a co-design approach to achieve improved health outcomes for the population. The commissioning activities of the role may change based on organisational need.

About You

Reporting to a Regional Health Integration Lead, the key responsibilities for the Regional Health Integration Coordinator include:

  • Taking a coordination role in supporting the service design, sourcing and contract management functions in commissioning of primary health services and activities for NT PHN in line with organisational requirements.
  • Applying a project management approach to commissioning of activities in initiating, planning, executing, controlling and completing activities within scope, time and budget.
  • Taking a continuous improvement approach to improved systems, processes and procedures, consistently critically reviewing and improving activities to deliver high level program outcomes.
  • Working collaboratively across branches to build strong and trusting relationships, maximise outcomes, reduce duplication, ensure organisational integration and efficiency.
  • Developing and managing effective and collaborative stakeholder relationships with Commissioned service providers and external stakeholders including contract relationship management.
  • Active participation in all Internal and external meetings to ensure the effective contribution to the strategic development of NT PHN to address a broad range of primary health care issues for the Northern Territory.
  • Prepare high level documentation with recommendations that are accurate and succinct, including business cases, Briefing Notes, discussion papers, subject reports, guidelines, policies and procedures and any other documentation as required.
