About the Opportunity

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for the development and maintenance of an internal Quality Management System and framework to ensure NT PHN meets the requirements for accreditation.

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for ensuring currency of organisational policies, procedures, templates, and the Document Control Register, development of a Quality Management System, and for coordination, planning and execution of activities to support NT PHN accreditation.

About You

This role will suit a candidate that has extensive high-level knowledge and understanding of quality management systems, a person who is organised, pays attention to detail, has great interpersonal skills, and is able to manage multiple tasks and projects. A person who exercises initiative and judgement and can prioritise for yourself and a team to meet changing work circumstances. If you have the following skills and experience, we’d love to chat:

  • Knowledge or training equivalent to a relevant Degree and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education /training.
  • Demonstrated industry experience in accreditation, quality improvement, policy, and procedure development, with experience working with recognised quality standards such as ISO, NSQHS, HSQF, and Australian Business Excellence Framework, and implementing end to end accreditation processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail with demonstrated experience in preparing high quality business documents.
  • Proven strategic thinking skills and judgement required to identify and respond to complex matters through well considered organisational responses.
  • Excellent interpersonal and engagement skills with a demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with a wide range of internal and external clients, partners and stakeholders in an environment requiring cultural sensitivity and understanding of organisational relationships.
  • Proven ability to effectively plan, prioritise and manage competing priorities to deliver defined outcomes
