The Policy and Project Officer will facilitate sector input into the development of policy and advocacy positions on behalf of the Northern Territory Mental Health Coalition and in support of the NT community mental health and suicide prevention sector.

The position will be responsible for the identification and creation of mechanisms to address policy issues of concern with key stakeholders and to undertake short term projects that benefit the sector.

The position will ensure the provision of effective external communication which contributes to the development of a strong and viable community mental health sector in the Northern Territory.
