An exciting new position exists for a Senior Solicitor and Project Manager to join our team.

This role will be based full-time at Danila Dilba Health Service (DDHS). DDHS is a community controlled organisation providing comprehensive primary health care services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Darwin region. The Northern Territory Legal Aid Commission (NTLAC) and DDHS started a health justice partnership in 2016 to connect DDHS clients with legal assistance within the health care setting, enabling services to be delivered in a more comprehensive way.

The successful applicant will manage the project and work closely with the Indigenous outreach worker. The purpose of the integrated service is to provide a comprehensive and holistic model of care, improving access to legal services for vulnerable clients, particularly those experiencing domestic and family violence, family law or child protection issues.

Employees of the Commission have similar working conditions to that of the Northern Territory Public Service.
