An exciting opportunity exists in our Alice Springs office for a Senior Criminal Solicitor to join our team.

The successful applicant will be required to act and appear in the Local Court, Supreme Court and other Courts and Tribunals as directed. In addition to acting for and briefing Counsel on behalf of clients in receipt of a grant of legal aid, the successful applicant will be required to assist members of the public as a duty solicitor and in legal advice clinic sessions.

A contract will be negotiated based on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant. Employees of the Commission have similar working conditions to that of the Northern Territory Public Service. The Commission also offers generous salary packaging arrangements.
