The Northern Suburbs Community Legal Centre (NSCLC) was established in 1996 to provide services to vulnerable and disadvantaged people across the north metropolitan area. Our vision is – Leading in community social justice. Services include legal, tenancy, older people’s rights, financial counselling and services for respondents to restraining orders. Our offices based at Mirrabooka, Joondalup and Wanneroo.
The advertised position, as part of the Older People’s Rights Program, is to lead and coordinate a dedicated contingent of volunteers on raising awareness of elder abuse in the community across the metropolitan region, undertake presentations, work closely with the senior solicitor and client health advocate on addressing elder abuse, manage grant and resources for the program, including the Purple Road, and working closely with a variety of external stakeholders and partners. An additional component of the role is maintaining the social media presence for the organisation.
