Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (NPY) Women’s Council was founded and is still led, governed and directed by women from the NPY region. It was created to give a voice to women across 26 desert communities in the cross-border regions of Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory. Today, we continue to provide progressive, innovative and evidence-based work in service delivery, advocacy and support.
The People and Workplace Services team are responsible for delivering a professional business support service to the employees and clients of NPY Women’s Council. We work together with other programs to employ and support a diverse mix of talent and to create a high performing culture that is innovative, inclusive and safe to work in.
The team includes Administration, Human Resources, Property and Fleet management. It also forms part of a wider Corporate Services division that includes Finance, Marketing & Communications and Information Technology.
This is primarily a human resources generalist role working with different programs across the organisation. The role will provide growth, career development and the chance to work in a team that values creative thinking, support and flexibility, along with wellbeing.
We’re looking for someone who has experience working in human resources or similar experience in business support or corporate services. You will enjoy coordinating administration processes whilst working with a diverse range of people needs. In addition, we’re looking for someone who is flexible, personable and can provide excellent organisational support to the organisation.
