Noweyung was established in Bairnsdale, East Gippsland, in 1954. We’ve been an important part of the East Gippsland community for 65 years, delivering Centred-based, social & community services, residential programs, disability and social enterprises. Our service history is one of proud, sustainable partnerships – with participants, families, carers, business, funding bodies and the community.

What We Need

This role is one of partnership as well. It’s a partnership between you and the rest of the senior management team, to respond to opportunities, through the NDIS, to significant growth, to assist and guide us through change processes and to contribute to the positive culture we are recreating.

Assist Noweyung to negotiate an EBA in the near future, undertake a range of employment and roster-related reviews, develop a new-look Training Plan, recruit and induct new staff, develop a staff-focused Communication Plan and continue to develop our induction processes.

This role is tailor-made for someone with broad, generalist HR experience, who loves a challenge, loves people, loves playing a crucial role in organisational change.

About You     

  • Coordinate all operational HR matters including resource planning, hiring/termination, performance management, grievances, mediation.
  • Create and implement HR initiatives to further support the company culture of collaboration, accountability and performance
  • Review, create and streamline processes and procedures
  • Provide HR advice and support to the organisation
  • Foster effective relationships in all areas of the business
  • Coordinate professional and career development internally and externally
  • Coordinate the performance review process
  • Coordinate and oversee the induction program
  • Support HR Officer HR related queries
