Key role responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic Membership and Engagement Officer with experience in the family violence sector to join our growing organisation.

This role will support implementation of the NTV Membership Strategy to support existing members and grow NTV membership across Australia. The role will contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of a new client relationship management system.

The Membership and Engagement Officer will work closely with our communications team to create materials that will appeal to our members.

An understanding of the family violence sector is essential in order to support conversations with our members and feedback information to the relevant teams within the organisation.

This role will sit within our Sector Development team however will work with staff across the organisation and contribute to organisational culture and activities, as well as working to help all staff understand and demonstrate belief in men changing their violent behaviour and the positive impacts of No to Violence’s work.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships in complex stakeholder environments
  • An understanding of the gendered nature of family violence and the need for appropriate responses through working with men
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in communications or family violence sector
  • Strong and respectful written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines across a broad portfolio of responsibilities
