Reporting to the HR Manager as an integral member of the close-knit, collegiate HR team, this “hands-on” role is responsible for delivering operational HR services, solutions, and advice across the organisation including all stages of the employee life cycle providing high quality, cost effective services in employee relations, recruitment, and selection processes, performance management, remuneration review and advice, HR policies and procedures, and data in line with NTV’s policies, HSE, and statutory and funding body requirements. You will work with HR team members to support the implementation of contemporary HR and Organisational Development strategies, programs, and policies to enable delivery of NTV’s strategic plan and play a key role in contributing to the process of continuous review and improvement of people management practices, operational processes, policies, frameworks, systems, and service delivery.

Ideally, you will hold tertiary qualifications in HR Management and have proven experience partnering with key stakeholders, delivering HR service excellence. It’s likely you have demonstrated understanding of employment law, including OHS, interpreting and implementing Awards and EAs and preparing employment contracts. High-level work planning, organisational and time management skills are important as are well-developed analytical and ‘systems thinking’ capabilities, enabling meaningful contributions to management decision-making processes. Computer literate, you will be familiar with MS products and may have experience in technologies such as; SharePoint, HRIS systems, Project Management software (SmartSheet).
