Nossal Institute for Global Health at the University of Melbourne has an exciting opportunity for a health systems professional with experience working in international development to join our team.

The position will have the opportunity to work across the Institute’s Units (Disability Inclusion for Health and Development, Health Systems Governance and Financing, Maternal Sexual and Reproductive Health, Non-Communicable Diseases, and One Health); so we are seeking candidates who have an interest across the multiple disciplines of our work, possess the agility to pivot as required, and be involved in numerous projects simultaneously.

This opportunity can be part-time at 4 days per week, or full-time on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Examples of the type of duties involved in this role include:

• Quantitative and qualitative data collection and statistical analysis
• Developing stakeholder documents and other resources (e.g. training or extension material, drafting policy briefs, etc)
• Reviewing key documents and report drafting
• Supporting tender preparation and bid development
• Identifying business development opportunities and fostering a network of key partnerships

In addition to technical expertise, excellent written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
