An exciting new community development role has opened up for the right person. The Community Voice Community Development Officer (CDO) will be leading community engagement activities with North Melbourne Public Housing Residents for the North Melbourne Community Partner of the Paving the Way Forward (PTWF) Project in partnership with the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH). The Community Voice CDO will focus on working with residents to develop a range of tools and mechanisms to ensure that they are involved in decisions that impact on their lives.

For this role you will need to be someone who has:

• Relevant community development paid or unpaid experience and/or relevant qualifications and
• Exceptional connections to residents of the North Melbourne public housing estate either as a current resident or someone who has very strong links and networks within these communities
