The Shire of Nillumbik is located 25 kilometres from Melbourne's CBD. The Shire covers an area of 430 square kilometres with the southern boundary of the Shire being the Yarra River, and the North-Eastern boundary extending to the Kinglake Ranges.

The Customer Support Officer will:

  • Support customers for Local Neighbourhood Houses
  • Assist with administrative support to the Living & Learning Nillumbik team
  • Enrol participants
  • Accurately enter data when recording courses in the Student Management System

Duties:

  • High levels of customer service for Local Neighbourhood Houses
  • Variety of Administrative support
  • Maintain the Student Management System

Skills and experience:

  • Certificate in Office Administration or similar, and/or previous experience in office administration and customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to work co-operatively with, members of the public, service users, employees and other organisations in order to achieve Council objectives
  • Proven ability to produce timely and accurate information within defined timelines and manage conflicting deadlines to agreed service standards
