Interrelate is a not-for-profit provider of relationship services. Our vision is to empower people to thrive in the most vital part of their lives - their relationships. We are committed to leading the way in providing responsive, cutting edge, transformative relationship services with and for our diverse communities, at every stage of life. We are committed to responding to the vulnerabilities of families and children in their communities and to building stronger relationships.

We deliver professional services whilst responding to individual client needs. We deliver services spread across 30+ physical locations (plus online) to more than 120,000 clients and we are backed by qualified staff and more than 90 years of trusted expertise in sensitive relationship matters. We work in a broad context, connecting people with their communities and culture.

Interrelate has established a Family Law Social Enterprise (FLSE) with the aim of providing a non-adversarial approach by offering separating partners an alternative to the traditional court system. The social enterprise promotes positive relationships including preserving the asset pool and prioritising the well-being of children, thereby complementing the existing alternate dispute resolution service by helping families who have separated. The model includes a panel of law firms. In each separation scenario, a panel law firm will act on behalf of one party, whereas Interrelate will act on behalf of the other party. The Principal Solicitor role is pivotal to this new FLSE. The successful candidate will have a current practising certificate (Principal of a law practice category) and experience in collaborative family law practice. They will have recognised formal training and qualifications in family law, family dispute resolution/mediation and recent practice experience. formal training in supervision and experience in providing high quality clinical supervision is essential, as is experience in working in a social enterprise or business environment and an appreciation of the social context in which Interrelate operates.
