Blue Knot offers a range of important services including the Blue Knot Helpline, Trauma Informed Case Management to support applicants applying for the National Redress Scheme, National Counselling and Referral Service supporting the Disability Royal Commission, educational workshops, professional development training, supervision, consultancy and other services.

The Role

This newly created position reports to the Deputy CEO and is a critical ‘go to’ point for executive and leadership teams. You will facilitate the implementation and management of compliance, safety, quality and best practice by embedding a continuous improvement framework in alignment with regulatory and legislative requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the development and management of policies, procedures, documentation, and risk and quality frameworks
  • Implement and maintain accreditation with governing bodies in alignment with National Safety and Quality Digital Mental Health Standards
  • Oversee reporting, identify trends and ensure systems and processes are robust and efficient
  • Play an active role on the clinical and technical governance subcommittee of board

Skills Required

Ideally you have a working knowledge of the current principles of quality improvement and clinical governance as they apply in the context of mental health or health care. Otherwise you will have relevant tertiary and post graduate qualification and experience in project and/or change management positions including establishing and maintaining:

  • Quantitative and qualitative evaluation strategies appropriate to monitor organisational performance
  • Contractual documents, as well as systems for managing, monitoring and reporting risk
  • Audit processes that deliver meaningful reporting to stakeholders

Play a key advisory role in facilitating system change and service improvement.
