The Role

This People Services Manager position plays a leading role in the People Team and broader organisation driving success by providing timely access to accurate people data, reporting and analysis. The role also supports an ambitious change agenda that will enable teams and individuals through improved systems and processes.
As ECMS embarks on a significant transformation program, with a large digital and systems focus, you will be a key player in this newly created People Team structure, optimising systems efficiency. This exciting and challenging role provides an excellent opportunity to advance your system, analysis and change management skills in a collegiate and outcome driven team environment.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead and support a variety of deliverables and initiatives, including:

  • Advising leadership on current system insights and future opportunities for improvement
  • Identifying the requirements for the systems infrastructure that will underpin the People Team and broader organisation – and then lead the implementation of the necessary HRIS solution
  • Sourcing and transforming people data and creating integrated employee datasets from various source systems
  • Delivering insightful people related management information and data and analysis for key people initiatives and activities
  • Act as a subject matter expert on contract management and the awards that underpin employment contracts at ECMS
  • Ensuring ECMS has fit-for-purpose people policies that promote the right behaviours and provide clarity of expectations to our people
  • Developing a total reward strategy, including remuneration framework

Skills required

In addition to your substantial HRIS knowledge and implementation experience, to be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in transforming data from source systems into formats for actionable insight
  • Knowledge of data principles and methods to manage data sets
  • Experience in people reporting and/or analytics in a corporate or not for profit environment
  • High integrity, respecting highest standards of data privacy and data protection when dealing with sensitive, confidential, and personal information
  • Ability to deliver multiple priorities and experience planning and implementing change initiatives
  • You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, stakeholder engagement skills and knowledge of IR/ER principles combined with an ability to work independently in a collaborative team.
