The Assignments

As the Executive Officer you will be working strategically with the executive team to coordinate the policy and advocacy approach on behalf of the sector. You will be an integral and strategic part of the team that champions the rights of people that are differently abled across Australia and internationally.

Duties will include:

• Working with the executive team to set policy and advocate for people that are differently abled
• Coordinating the facilitation and discussion of what needs to be done
• Managing the executive team to ensure strategic outcomes are being acted upon and delivered

NGO Recruitment & You

Our client is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Executive Officer with previous experience to work in a long-term temporary position on a 0.6 / part time basis. You will be an excellent communicator who knows the value of the right message delivered in the right way, at the right time. You will have experience working in the international development sector for a rights based organisation, and understand all of the many nuances that come from working in the sector. This is the perfect position for an experienced Senior Project / Program Manager or Executive Officer to make a difference whilst also maintaining a great work life balance.
