The Role

Reporting to the Executive Director you will be an integral member of a small team. Broadly, you will be responsible for event management, and the administrative, project, finance and communication functions that support their work.

Key aspects of role include:

  • Coordinating the successful delivery of a number of key events throughout the year
  • Liaising with event sponsors and coordinating the event organising teams
  • Administrative support and travel arrangements for the Executive Director and team
  • Ensuring effective functioning of member services across a range of groups and networks
  • Support the preparation and distribution of member communications and online content

Skills Required

You will have extensive experience in taking the lead in successfully coordinating professional events. You are a driven self-starter who demonstrates initiative, adaptability and excellent attention to detail. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will ensure you can work productively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

You can also demonstrate:

  • Outstanding organisational, prioritisation and coordination skills
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team to achieve agreed outcomes
  • High level of computer literacy including databases, websites and online applications
  • Strong writing and analytical skills
  • Excellent work ethic with a positive and professional attitude
  • The ability to work within the ethos of a faith-based organisation
