The Position:

Ngala is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified people for the position of Coordinator Parenting Connection WA - Midwest.

Our preferred applicant will be experienced in working with families and be able to identify areas of need.

The successful candidate will be proactive and have the ability to work collaboratively across all departments ensuring the focus is always on quality and best practice.

As the Coordinator you will:

  • Lead and facilitate comprehensive community engagement and planning processes.
  • Collaborate with local community members and stakeholders to develop and implement an action plan for integrated services and activities for families with children aged 0-18 years in the Midwest region.
  • Oversee the administration of the Parenting Capacity Fund under the guidance of the Local Area Partnership Group and Service Development Unit.
  • Facilitate and guide activities of Ngala Staff and other providers to meet contract requirements.

It's important that you:

  • Have well developed self-management skills.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to capacity building and community development.
  • Possess effective strategic planning and project management skills and commit to action.
  • Have highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to broker relationships and partnerships.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to encourage development.
