Carringbush Adult Education (Carringbush) delivers Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Employability Skills programs tailored to adult learners with diverse needs. Our programs are contextualised and have a strong focus on the development of oral communication skills, including pronunciation, as well as literacy skills for employment and participation in the wider Australian community.

Carringbush is a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation that aims to empower Richmond and Collingwood’s most high-need adult learners, with a focus on migrant-background residents at the beginning of their education and vocational pathways.

Carringbush is currently seeking people with either not for profit sector Management of Board experience to take up a volunteer Board Member role for this well-respected not-for-profit organisation.

Commitment would entail:

• Attending monthly Board Meetings
• Contributing to strategic discussions
• Supporting the organisation, the Board, and the CEO achieve their growth goals
