About the Role

  • Full Time
  • Maximum Term Contract until 30 December 2023
  • CSD Level 4 from $84,934 - $88,791 per annum + super + salary packaging
  • Based in Penrith

This position will oversee the Sustaining Tenancies in Social Housing (STSH) program based in Neami Penrith/Seven Hills. The STSH program is aimed at working with clients whose tenancies are considered at risk that are referred by DCJ Housing. The program will assist the clients in understanding their needs and developing collaborative support plans to address their needs and the risk factors associated with their tenancies.

In this role, you will:

  • Establish and implement the new STSH program, as well as the ongoing management
  • Work in close partnership with the Service Manager and Regional Manager to provide leadership, practice development and coaching sessions to service delivery staff
  • Provide instruction and guidance on practice issues to a team of Community Rehabilitation and Support Workers
  • Establish and maintain strong working partnerships with key stakeholders to deliver the best possible comprehensive service to consumers
  • Strong leadership capability
  • Excellent casework skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor staff in this area
  • Possess an understanding of reporting requirements
  • Previous experience from similar programs to draw upon

About You

Our ideal candidate will have broad experience in the delivery of mental health support services and the ability to inspire, motivate and coach staff to deliver these. We seek an enthusiastic and positive person to provide practice guidance, supervision and support. We require someone with the ability to work independently.

  • Current NSW Working with Children Check
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Police check (refer to PD) – disclosable outcomes considered
