  • Part Time and Casual positions available; Maximum Term contract until 30 June 2024 subject to continued Government funding
  • Location: Urgent Mental Health Care Centre - Adelaide CBD
  • Hours 24/7 Rotating Roster; CSS Level 2 $57,960 - $63,239 (pro rata)

The Urgent Mental Health Care Centre (UMHCC) Operational Support Officer is responsible for service administrative and frontline support for the ongoing delivery of South Australia’s first Urgent Mental Health Care Centre. The UMHCC is based on our formal partner, RI International’s (RII) “Crisis Now” movement and their international leading lived experience, high engagement, multi-disciplinary crisis model offering an alternative to Emergency Department presentations.

UMHCC is moving to a 24/7 Rotating Roster therefore your hours of work will be in accordance with a 7 day per week rotating roster which may include a variety of shifts ranging from morning, afternoon, evening, active overnight, and recalls depending on service operational requirements.

The Operational Support Officer will support and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to consumers by ensuring that staff operating within the UMHCC are provided with office administrative support that is flexible and responsive to their needs.

This role will have specific responsibility for ensuring high quality frontline services including welcoming guests (consumers) and carers seeking care at the UMHCC, responding to service enquires and ensuring guest data is maintained to high standard.

Core duties

  • Assisting with the entry of data for filing and archiving systems
  • Use your skills in all Microsoft office applications and your computer literacy to develop, format, and maintain excel spreadsheets
  • Ensure all internal and external data collection systems are adhered to
  • Participate in the collection and analysis of statistical data as required
  • Participate in and adhere to operational support audit and compliance processes
  • Provide basic IT help desk support for service site colleagues
