About Links to Wellbeing:

The Links to Wellbeing Psychological Therapies program supports clients presenting with mild to moderate anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. Clients can be referred by GPs or community services for 10 sessions of focussed-psychological therapy under a current Mental Health Treatment Plan. The mental health clinician in Psychological Therapies Services works as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide medium term focussed-psychological interventions. The role will include the following:

  • Comprehensive mental health assessments, formulations, and treatment planning
  • Delivery of focussed psychological strategies and/or referral on to other clinicians in Links to Wellbeing stepped care programs
  • Liaison with the referrer and other agencies as appropriate
  • Discharge planning
  • Utilising Clinical Reviews with psychiatrist/clinical lead and team to improve quality of care and outcomes for clients

About the Role

  • Part Time/Full Time role available, Maximum term contract until 30 June 2022
  • Based in Morphett Vale and/or Adelaide Links to Wellbeing offices
  • Above Award Salary (Nurses Award 2010 or Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020)
  • Maybe required to work some afterhours including Saturday mornings
  • Support the continuity of client care and information flow between Psychological Therapies Services and other stakeholders
  • Participate in engagement activities to promote the mental health and wellbeing of the community

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Criminal record check required before commencement of employment
  • Working with Children and Vulnerable Person check required
  • Qualified in one of the following disciplines and membership to associated professional body; Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Mental Health Nursing
  • At all times maintain annual registration requirements with appropriate registration authority (AASW, AHPRA) including registration standards and continuing professional development (CPD).
