The Intake, Assessment and Triage Service is a new Neami service located in Cairns, Townsville and Mackay in partnership with the QPHN. As the Clinical Support Coordinator, you will be part of a team of Clinicians who provide clinical and risk assessments, care planning and facilitate access to appropriate clinical and community services. The Clinical Support Coordinator plays an active role in assessing and screening referrals using appropriate tools, policies and procedures. You will be responsible for managing and reviewing priority lists as and when required. You will also have a deep understanding of the types of mental health services available in the area as you will be providing information about mental health and available services in the region.
As a Clinical Support Coordinator you will have a background and be registered in your field of Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing and/or Psychology, along with demonstrated experience. Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the issues faced by individuals in the region including those identifying from a CALD or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background.
