Bring your mental health experience to the Suicide Prevention and Postvention Service LifeConnect in providing support and capacity building activities to the community
Neami National have been commissioned by the Eastern Melbourne PHN to deliver suicide prevention services and activities throughout the Inner East, Outer East and Northern Metropolitan Melbourne Region. The program delivers and a suite of capacity building and activities including, training and wellbeing groups as well as bereavement counselling for people impacted by suicide.
The Community Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) is responsible for facilitating wellbeing programs and suicide prevention training to workplaces, community groups and other at-risk groups. The CRSW, along with the LifeConnect team, will also engage in postvention service provision in the form of nonclinical care co-ordination to individuals and groups and provide service navigation and referral support.
Neami National is a community mental health service supporting people living with mental illness to improve their health, live independently and pursue a life based on their own strengths, values and goals.
