An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Permanent Full Time Coordinator Medical Administration to work within the Medical Administrative Unit that encompasses both Junior Medical Officer (JMO) and Senior Medical Officer (SMO) recruitment, appointment and management, and is committed to delivering high quality professional services that support the organisation in the delivery of safe and efficient health services.

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

  • Coordination and supervision of the day to day staffing and operations of the JMO Services team Contribute to in-service education sessions
  • Facilitate delivery of quality, cost effective services with an emphasis on recruitment, selection, on-boarding, contract management, administration such as records management, rostering & leave management
  • Develop the medical rosters and work with medical agencies to fill roster shortfalls.
  • Provide administrative support for junior and senior medical recruitment processes, including setting up interviews, documentation and on-boarding.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within medical recruitment
  • Relevant experience and expertise working within a medical administration setting and/or equivalent human resources environment, with capacity to support the professional, wellbeing, educational needs and expectations of the senior and junior medical workforce
  • Brings an understanding or direct experience with medical staff allocations including rostering & recruitment compliance
  • Understanding and the ability to interpret Awards and employment conditions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of accreditation standards set by the HETI for the training of junior medical staff in NSW or the ability to quickly learn these.
  • Proven ability to effectively work in a team, ability to work without supervision and ability to lead and manage a team under pressure and with competing priorities.
  • Commitment to provision of high level customer service to clients and demonstrated ability to work with people at all levels within the organisation.
  • High level verbal and written communication, facilitation and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders – Attention to details?
  • Demonstrated capacity for initiative and an ability to work and make decisions independently
