About Us

The Melbourne Ageing Research Collaboration (MARC), led by the National Ageing Research Institute (NARI), is a partnership of 18 organisations, with support from the state government and JO and JR Wicking Trust, that have joined forces to bring about systemic change to improve the quality of life of older people.

The National Ageing Research Institute (NARI) is an independent, non-profit, medical research organisation recognised internationally as a centre of excellence in gerontology and geriatrics research. The Institute provides clinical, psycho-social, health services and public health research specifically directed at older people and also has a major focus on translational research. The mission of the Institute is to improve the life and health of older people through research into ageing. MARC is a unique and innovative model of collaboration that aims to change practice and policy through both new and synthesised evidence by all partners working collaboratively.

About the Role

This is a part time Research Assistant position as part of the MARC team to support activities within the MARC Division, including research, projects and events, depending on the needs of the Division.

The successful applicant will have a Bachelor degree in a health-related field.
