NAAFLS is seeking an experienced Solicitor to join our team in the Katherine Office as the Managing Solicitor. The Managing Solicitor will assist in management of the legal practice, including supervision of Solicitors within the team and assist with the day to day management of the office.

The successful applicant will possess 3+ years PAE and hold, or be eligible for an unrestricted practising certificate in the Northern Territory. The ability to provide an accessible and culturally sensitive legal service, and to understand the needs of culturally diverse clients living in remote community settings is essential. You may travel to remote communities in the Top End, providing legal advice, education and assistance to clients for up to a week at a time as required.

It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess an Ochre Card (Working with Children Clearance), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory driver’s licence or the ability to obtain one.
