About Us

Financial Toolbox is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to build financial knowledge and skills of Western Australians, giving them independence and freedom of choice throughout their lives.

The Women at Risk team specifically focuses on working to support women facing domestic and family violence and financial abuse. Your Toolkit (https://www.yourtoolkit.com.au/) has been developed as a comprehensive web based resource containing information to assist users dealing with domestic and financial abuse. It was launched in WA in 2019 as a social enterprise and has been on a growth trajectory ever since. 

Your Toolkit is designed to be a “one stop shop” of crucial information and resources and provides a step-by-step guide for users dealing with matters of domestic and financial abuse.

Our vision is that every woman is well equipped to be physically, emotionally and financially secure.

About the Role

This newly created Program Manager role, will have responsibility for leading and helping to shape the product development of the Your Toolkit online resource. This will involve you driving the development and implementation of a 12-month marketing and communications strategy to expand the reach of Your Toolkit. In addition, you will be working with an external organisation contracted to design and implement the social impact and outcome measurement for the project, which will be used to inform the future direction of Your Toolkit.

What You’ll do…

  • Provide inspiration and leadership in this next phase of growth for the organisation whilst adopting a “make things happen” attitude.
  • Be guided by the values, vision and purpose of the organisation
  • Work with industry to implement an integrity framework ensuring that the content contained in the Your Toolkit website is current, relevant and meeting the needs of our target audience.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the Women at Risk Committee who are a working group available for support
  • Work closely with external consultants as required
  • Successfully engage, collaborate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders both in industry, government, non-government organisations plus the wider WA community.
  • Contribute to the negotiation and management of government and non-government funding.
  • Be ready and open to new opportunities even if loosely defined or out of the initial defined job scope.
  • Have a firm lens on outcomes by delivering on the social impact analysis and evaluation

The skills and experience required

  • Excellent organisational skills including ability to develop project plans and report regularly on required KPIs
  • Experience leading projects in the areas of marketing and product development
  • An understanding of social impact evaluation and advocacy
  • Strong capacity for developing networks and relationships including with government agencies, other industry stakeholders and commercial oragnisations
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Stewardship over financial budgets, confidential and sensitive information

  • An awareness of family and domestic violence issues and impacts, especially in relation to financial abuse
