About us

My Place is a not-for-profit provider of individualised and flexible supports to people with disability and their families. My Place now supports around 400 people with disability to live in their own homes, or remain in their family home, and become valued and contributing members of their community. My Place does not provide any group home, day centre or other congregate care services.

About the role

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Support Workers/Personal Assistants to support individuals to live in their own home in the community as this support is essential for people with disability to remain living in their home.

Support Workers/Personal Assistants encourage, develop and enrich the life of the person they support, provide a safe and secure home, and create a sense of belonging, value and wellbeing both within the home and in the local community. Personal care and manual handling experience desirable but not essential. No specific qualifications other than appropriate life experience are required as My Place will provide necessary training for you to fulfil the role.

About you

If you are based in or around Perth metro area, and you are honest, caring, organised, able to work autonomously and use your initiative, we would love to hear from you.

Current driver's licence and current National police clearance essential.

When working with children in care, additional screening and a current Working with Children’s Card is required.
