Sales & Business Development Manager

Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer this role will be responsible for growing MyCareSpace's panel of Providers and building partnerships.

The Sales & Business Development Manager will work closely with both the Provider and Connections Team to match NDIS market demand with our supply of quality disability service providers using MyCareSpace to grow their businesses. You will be an integral part of our team focused on improving the lives of people living with a disability.

ABOUT MYCARESPACE

MyCareSpace (mycarespace.com.au) is a free community service supporting people living with a disability all around Australia. We do this by connecting people with disability supports in their local area that meet their individual needs.

Duties and responsibilities

Working alongside the management team to develop and implement approaches to increase the number of disability service providers using MyCareSpace platform as a source of lead generation.

  • Identify, qualify, progress and manage a pipeline of high value sales prospects
  • Identify opportunities for future business development and partnerships proposals; develop and communicate compelling business proposals
  • Contribute to marketing strategies to build brand awareness and drive our growth strategy with providers with a strong focus on quality, skilled providers with current capacity.
  • The person will also work with the Provider team to constantly reassess and refine our retention strategy.
  • Represent MyCareSpace at relevant sector events, conferences and other activities.
  • Drive success - support the Providers using MyCareSpace to be connect with the NDIS community and grow their businesses.
  • Deliver on targets - ensure we meet our sales targets to contribute to our growth strategy.
  • Understanding the need to balance our own growth and with our impact will be critical

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence and negotiate commercial terms
  • Self motivation and is Goal orientated
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement
  • Track record of developing partnerships

Skills Required

  • A self-starter with experience in business development and B2B sales and a track record on delivering against targets and KPI’s.
  • A growth focus - an entrepreneurial individual with highly developed problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • An ability to build and drive strategy and report on progress.
  • Strong disability network would be desirable or strong networking skills with a track record in building long term partnerships and relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, helping to create propositions suited to different customer needs.
  • Experience using a customer relationship management system to manage sales pipeline, activities and reporting.
  • Strong values alignment will be key to balancing our revenue goals with our impact aspirations
