Marra Worra Worra Aboriginal Corporation (MWW) is the oldest and largest Aboriginal Resource Agency in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Our primary aim is to provide support services to existing and emerging groups in the Fitzroy Valley; assisting in the areas of Employment, Housing, School Attendance and Financial services to promote Aboriginal employment, opportunities, well-being and financial growth.

MWW administers the Community Development Program (CDP) for over 800 job seekers throughout 32 remote Aboriginal communities in the Fitzroy Valley. We currently have a vacancy for a Compliance Officer in our CDP team.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for managing job seeker participation requirements using the compliance framework in the CDP system, including:

  • Monitoring the compliance and quality of job plans.
  • Updating and resulting timesheets and Work for the Dole activities.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of contractual obligations.
  • Providing technical leadership on compliance related matters and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

About you:

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

  • Three to five years’ experience in a compliance focussed environment, ideally within a community service/employment service program.
  • Experience and/or qualifications in administration or employment services.
  • Intermediate level of Excel.
  • High level of attention to detail and an ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to the organisation’s values and objectives through day-to-day behaviour and interaction with peers, staff and other stakeholders.
