  • Location: Kaltukatjura (Docker River)
We are seeking a committed couple to live and work in Kaltukatjura (Docker River), with the primary role being an Employment Engagement Officer, and suitable work available for their partner in handyperson and property support.
This is a live‑in position, suited to a couple who enjoy community life, working together, and contributing to positive outcomes for Anangu and the wider community.

Primary Role: Employment Engagement Officer

About the Role

The Employment Engagement Officer works alongside Anangu and community members to support pathways into training and employment. This role is about building trust, encouraging confidence, and opening doors to meaningful work opportunities in a culturally respectful and supportive way.
Experience in employment services or community work is beneficial, however we are happy to support the right person to grow into the role.
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Leave: 4 weeks annual leave per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Support participants one‑on‑one with employment and training goals.
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with Anangu, families, and employers.
  • Support and track job placements to help people gain and sustain employment.
  • Help create a safe, welcoming, and culturally respectful environment.
  • Work as part of the Anangu Employment Services team to support the wider community vision.

Partner Role: Handyperson / Property Support

About the Role

Work is available for the partner of the Employment Engagement Officer in a handyperson and property support role, assisting with the general upkeep of buildings and outdoor areas on the premises in Docker River.
This role supports a safe, functional, and welcoming living and working environment for staff and community.
A background in electrical or plumbing work would be beneficial but is not expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • General building maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Yard and outdoor area upkeep, including mowing and general tidiness.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues early.
  • Assist with coordinating contractors when required.
  • Support a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
