The Role
Reporting to the Manager Corporate Services, your role will involve:-
- Leading the workforce planning process and developing a Workforce Plan that aligns with current and future business objectives
- Developing and implementing organisational policies and procedures based on relevant legislation and contemporary HR management practices
- Recruitment and selection of new employees and developing an induction and orientation program
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive training and professional development program
- Developing and supporting the performance management system
- Ensuring policies and practices comply with relevant legislation and contemporary HR management practices
The Requirements
- HR experience at senior management level within the Aged Care and/or Disability sector
- Experience in contemporary issues, legislation and standards impacting on Aged Care
- Experience interpreting legislation, regulations, Awards, Industrial Agreements together with policy and procedure
- Excellent communication skills including counselling, negotiating and report writing
- Ability to contribute towards the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives to meet the needs of the organisation
- Experience with HRIS and strong computer literacy skills
The successful candidate will be required to provide a current Police Check (no more than 6 months from date of issue) and a current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
