Are you an experienced HR professional with experience in the Aged Care or Disability Services sector? Utilise your in-depth knowledge to join our team providing strategic and operational advice and support to the Executive Team on all HR related matters.

Working 4 days per week and located in Campsie, Multicultural Care is a close knit and friendly organisation that works hard to support each other and the most vulnerable in our community.

The Role

Reporting to the Manager Corporate Services, your role will involve:-

  • Leading the workforce planning process and developing a Workforce Plan that aligns with current and future business objectives
  • Developing and implementing organisational policies and procedures based on relevant legislation and contemporary HR management practices
  • Recruitment and selection of new employees and developing an induction and orientation program
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive training and professional development program
  • Developing and supporting the performance management system
  • Ensuring policies and practices comply with relevant legislation and contemporary HR management practices

The Requirements

  1. HR experience at senior management level within the Aged Care and/or Disability sector
  2. Experience in contemporary issues, legislation and standards impacting on Aged Care
  3. Experience interpreting legislation, regulations, Awards, Industrial Agreements together with policy and procedure
  4. Excellent communication skills including counselling, negotiating and report writing
  5. Ability to contribute towards the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives to meet the needs of the organisation
  6. Experience with HRIS and strong computer literacy skills

The successful candidate will be required to provide a current Police Check (no more than 6 months from date of issue) and a current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
