About the role

The purpose of this role is to coordinate, facilitate and evaluate training interventions to uplift skill and capability at Multicap. Reporting to the Capability Development Manager, you will ensure all training programs, materials and packages of work meets our capability framework, training principles and objectives. By providing high quality learning sessions to team members it will support the delivery of a person-centred service approach which ensures the safety and wellbeing of customers and staff. This role requires extensive experience working in change management and training teams for large capability development enabling projects, in particular NDIS projects. It also includes undertaking training design, development and delivery of practical technical and/or clinical training programs across multiple regions. 

Other duties and role requirements include:

  • Deliver a wide variety of multi-modal training solutions aligned to the 70:20:10 methodology and evaluate learning outcomes.
  • Effective consultation and collaboration with other subject matter experts to design and develop “fit for purpose” learning materials, with continual refinement of the learning sessions to improve curriculum and maximise the learning experience.
  • Complement learning events with digital learning solutions to embed practice excellence and contribute to a learning culture.
  • Monitor and report on training effectiveness and outcomes
  • Use the LMS to assess and track learner’s attendance, competence and ongoing training requirements
  • Managing relationships with internal customers and external vendors

About You

To be considered for the position, you will ideally have a positive attitude, enjoy working as part of a high functioning team and be able to work flexibly, including:

  • Demonstrated ability in delivering training sessions to team members across geographically dispersed locations and within a complex project environment.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate, influence and promote effective relationships with peers and various stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, be accountable and take responsibility for own work.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in delivering training in the Aged Care or Disability sector.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or Certificate III in Disability is highly desirable.
  • Formal qualification and experience as an Allied Health practitioner (eg. Registered Nurse) with the ability to deliver advanced medications (eg. wound management, diabetes, epilepsy etc) is highly desirable
  • Intrastate travel is a requirement of this role

You must have the right to work in Australia. You must also have NDIS Worker Orientation certificate completed and please login to training.ndiscommission.gov.au if you haven't obtained the certificate already.

Salary sacrifice + Meal entertainment

Pay negotiated based on experience.

Attractive Salary packaging including $15,900 packaging limit per FBT year (1 April- 31 March) and $2,550 per year for meals and entertainment expenses.
