About the role

As a member of our Rostering Team, the Rostering Officer is responsible for assisting with the creation and accurate processing of rosters for each region. The role is required to improve the quality and consistency of rosters, the timeliness of response, and to promote efficient use of resources.

Role requirements may include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Develop rosters to achieve efficiency and maximise the use of our workforce resources. Collaborate with the business which meets the customers need and that also comply with Enterprise Agreement conditions
  • Provide advice and support to internal customers, leaders and team members throughout the workforce planning and utilisation process, ensuring accurate information is provided to stakeholders.
  • Analyse workforce utilisation and report on trends, anomalies and provide insights to leaders, to ensure the workforce is utilised effectively.

About you

The successful applicant will:

  • Extensive rostering experience in a complex environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
  • Demonstrated experience working within the parameters of defined policies and procedures 
  • Previous experience in building internal networks and navigating a complex environment
  • Strong computer skill with an intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and previous experience with a rostering system.
  • A strong ability to manage the competing demands of a busy environment, prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to be customer-focused and results-driven
  • Ability to problem-solve, develop and refine processes to mitigate risks.
  • A positive attitude towards people with disabilities and the willingness to work within Multicap’s Values and Code of Conduct in order to meet customer needs

Mandatory requirement

Please note that the successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a current QLD Driver’s Licence, Positive Notice Card from Disability Services (Yellow Card), Working with Children Check (Blue card) and in some circumstances National Criminal History check. You must also have NDIS Worker Orientation certificate completed and please login to https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/ if you haven't obtained the certificate already.

Salary sacrifice + Meal entertainment

Attractive Salary packaging including $15,900 packaging limit per FBT year (1 April- 31 March) and $2,550 per year for meals and entertainment expenses.
