About the role

As a member of our People and Culture team, the HR/Recruitment Officer is responsible for leading the recruitment of all team members in our North Region and will report to the regional HR Business Partner. Whilst the primary purpose of this role is recruitment, the role will also have exposure to other end-to-end HR activities such as performance, remuneration and benefits, and succession planning. 

Role requirements may include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Coordinate recruitment for all roles in our North Region. This includes supporting leaders with: job design, position description review, sourcing, phone screening, interviewing (where required), reference checking, and offer management.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service to the business ensuring we deliver a great candidate experience and also meet our SLA’s.
  • Design, tailor, and facilitate end-to-end recruitment and selection processes for the team to meet appropriate workforce levels across your region.
  • Develop strategies to reduce time to fill and increase the quality of hire. Undertake continuous improvements on recruitment workflows, toolkits and training, and documentation.
  • Providing operational HR advice and guidance to Multicap team members and leaders across the region

About you

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a hands-on enthusiastic and passionate HR professional who is excited by the opportunity to make a positive impact
  • Have experience in similar recruitment roles in a fast-paced environment and managing the demands of bulk recruitment activities
  • Have demonstrated experience in a variety of candidate sourcing methodologies such as web-based sourcing, networking, market mapping, referral programs/management, etc.
  • Be able to handle a number of competing prioritises between operational delivery and other HR deliverables
  • Be able to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Have experience in working with leaders to influence and guide their decision making
  • Be a team player that operates in a flexible manner in a team environment, with a preference towards being proactive and solution-focused
  • Have an ability to problem-solve, develop, and refine processes to mitigate risks
  • Have a positive attitude towards people with disabilities and the willingness to work within Multicap’s Values and Code of Conduct in order to meet customer needs

Mandatory requirement

Please note that the successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a current QLD Driver’s Licence, Positive Notice Card from Disability Services (Yellow Card), Working with Children Check (Blue card), and in some circumstances National Criminal History check. You must also have NDIS Worker Orientation certificate completed and please login to https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/ if you haven't obtained the certificate already.

Salary sacrifice + Meal entertainment

Attractive Salary packaging including $15,900 packaging limit per FBT year (1 April- 31 March) and $2,550 per year for meals and entertainment expenses.
