This exciting and rewarding position is a hands-on role coordinating a vital men’s health campaign being launched by the Continence Foundation of Australia, supported by a number of Australia’s leading men’s health and health professional organisations. The campaign aims to improve social participation and quality of life for the 1.34 million Australian boys and men who experience incontinence.

This new full-time role will see you engaging with multiple interest groups and stakeholders from across the professional, consumer, corporate and philanthropic spheres.

As Coordinator of this Health Campaign, you will be the key contact and support the strategic implementation right through to the execution of this multi-channel campaign. Working with a variety of stakeholders throughout Australia, you will nurture existing relationships and continually develop the campaign to achieve desired results. The successful candidate will share our energy and enthusiasm to help improve the lives of people experiencing incontinence.

The role will be based at our national office in Surrey Hills however given the national reach of the campaign there will be the need to travel interstate from time to time.

The position is offered on a full-time basis in the first instance, with hours negotiable.

About the role

Campaign activities will include the following:

  • Project management, including developing plans, coordination of key events/media opportunities, monitoring and reporting
  • Campaign coordination, including campaign collateral, overseeing day to day operations, communication/marketing to key stakeholders, potential supporters, government representatives and the general community.
  • Evaluation and reporting

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • More than 5 years experience in marketing and communications.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience, including budgeting, planning, reporting and ongoing evaluation.
  • Previous experience managing or coordinating successful public health or community related campaigns will be highly regarded, as will experience working within the health or not for profit sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills with the ability to engage, maintain and extend client relationships.
  • Ability to represent the Foundation in a positive and professional manner.
